No surprise this office has only 5 star reviews. Very clean office. We relocated to Maryland and with all the changes, having my regular check up fell off my radar. End of year was quickly approaching and I wanted to be sure I used my 2017 benefits. Staff has quick turnaround time after I called to schedule my appointment. This team was friendly and professional.Another plus was I didn’t feel the dentist was recommending work I didn’t need, which was something I had experienced with previous dentist. I would definitely recommend this dental office.

Excellent service. Everyone is friendly here. Dr. Lutz explained everything that he was doing and why he was doing it. I was feeling anxious due to previous dental places, but their kindness and professionalism put me at ease.
I'm picky about who I let poke around my mouth with sharp instruments, and I imagine some of you may be, as well.
Dr. Lutz is willing to take his time and answer any questions my wife and I have. Very patient and calm, deals well with my wife's anxiety, willing to explain each procedure as he does it.
TL;DR: I am 100% comfortable with allowing the hygienists and dentists at Odenton Family Dentistry to poke around in my mouth.
Of all the dental care facilities I have visited in my decades of paying a moderate (maybe slightly above-average?) amount of attention to semi-regularly visiting a dental professional, this is the only place which has made me feel like coming back every six months to poke around in my mouth; a.k.a. cleaning/check-up appointments. All of the staff is truly just that good.
Also, he makes a point of doing the first cleaning when he can so that he gets to know his patients. So even patients in good dental health get to know their dentist, much better than my previous dentist who may as well have been anonymous.
I'm happy with our switch and plan on remaining with this dentist for a while.
Good people and good work. The office manager and dental assistants seem to enjoy their work. You can't say that for all medical/dental operations. I took advantage of an advertised special for an in-office dental whitening treatment. The process was easy, the treatment was effective, and I felt like it was money well spent. In addition, I opted for whitening trays to use at my convenience. Dr. Luntz is pretty meticulous in his work. Unlike some dentists, he's not rushing in and out to get to the next patient.
The office is clean and quiet, which was something I didn't know I really liked until going here.
