Refusing to give them a general idea of what's going in the storage unit just comes off as suspicious. All you had to say was "a few boxes", or "a small rooms worth of furniture and some boxes", and they would have given you an estimate for the room size that fits you.
From the moment I signed up I have always been treated with professional, friendly service. The staff are great at contacting you about upcoming payments with brief reminders. Every time I go to my unit the AC is working, there are no pests, and the building is well maintained. Great service all around!
As a current service member, please disregard the other guys posting about their customer service. I called this morning, and had no issue getting a quote. Did they ask me what I was storing? Yes. However, they ask this to get an idea of what size you want. I told him a small room full of boxes, nothing more. They don't want a full itemized packing list, they just want to be able to give you the best quote for the room size that's right for you. The gentleman who answered was very polite, and had no issue giving me a quote.

Getting my first storage unit at Odenton Self Storage was E-A-S-Y! The staff were really,really nice. I inquired about a 5x5 unit which was unclear at first whether there was a vacancy or not. 2 Days later I received a phone call about an available unit, and since they couldn't reach me that day, they continued to call until I was able to answer so I wouldn't miss out on the unit! ***Tiffani*** in particular was stellar, very sweet and very professional. I just got this unit about a week and a half ago but hope to continue using Odenton Self Storage for quite some time.
